By Annette Alfieri · July 18, 2012 · Dieting Health Healthy Eating Motivation Nutrition Psychology of Eating Recipes Uncategorized Weight Loss · Leave a commentEvery once in a while you just need it: a taste of something sweet and decadent. These peanut butter balls will satisfy your cravings without sacrificing your goals. It’s a guilt-free nibble of heaven! And best of all, you can whip them up in a flash. I got you covered.
EZ-PZ Peanut Butter Balls
2 Tbs Freshly Ground Peanut Butter
2 Tbs Raw, Organic Honey
2 Tbs Vanilla Protein Powder (I like DFH’s Whey Cool Vanilla Protein Powder)
Optional coatings:
Raw, unsweetened coconut
Unsweetened cocoa
Wheat germ
Dried oats
In a small bowl mix together the peanut butter, honey and protein powder. When you have a uniform consistency, roll the dough into small balls. This recipe makes 3 balls.
Then roll the dough in the coating of your choice. I prefer the coconut, but you can be creative. The list of coatings are endless!
Place the balls in the refrigerator until firm.
Healthy tip: A serving is one ball. Pair it with a piece of fruit for a healthy snack, or have one for a taste of sweetness after a meal.
