Iced tea is the perfect summer drink.
This cool, refreshing beverage has no caffeine so you can enjoy it all day and it includes the benefit of hibiscus flower and the sweet taste of blueberries…ahhhh!
Hibiscus and Blueberry Iced Tea
6 Republic of Tea Hibiscus and Blueberry tea bags
Juice of one lime
3 ½ slices of fresh ginger – peeled
1 Tbs honey (optional)
Add the above ingredients to a heatproof pitcher or large 1 Quart measuring cup. Cover with 4 cups of boiling water and let steep for 20 minutes. Pull or strain out the tea bags and ginger. Add another cup of cold water and refrigerate.
This is a very light flavored tea. Serve over ice or add a splash of sparkling water for some fizz.
