Homemade Organic Guacamole And Tortilla Chips

Nothing screams summer’s-right-around-the-corner quite like guacamole.

Instead of waiting for the warm weather to arrive, why not bring a taste of sunshine to your table today?

Guacamole is easy to make, and is a tasty dip, spread and topping.

Eating more veggies has never been so fun!

Ole’ Guacamole

2 ripe avocados – peeled and diced
1 lime cut in quarters
1 medium vine ripe tomato diced
2 TBL. Finely chopped red onion
½ – 1 finely chopped jalapeño pepper
2 TBL. Finely chopped fresh cilantro
Coarse salt to taste

Place the avocado in a medium bowl and mash with a fork until smooth. Squeeze the juice of a quarter of the lime over and stir to prevent oxidation. Add tomato, onion, and ½ the jalapeño, cilantro, and another squeeze of lime juice. Stir ingredients together and add salt to taste. You can add more jalapeño if you like more heat, and more lime and salt. You should ideally be able to taste every ingredient in each bite.
