When you think of a smoothie, chances are you are picturing something sweet with lots of fruit.
Well smoothies come in all flavors, including savory.
This is one of my favorite healthy snacks. It’s like the best of your garden in a glass, only better!
The Savory Smoothie
1 ripe tomato
2 ribs of celery
1 handful of baby carrots
3 leaves of fresh basil
1 small clove of garlic (optional)
¼ tsp Tabasco Sauce (optional)
2 pinches of kosher salt
Place all ingredients in a blender and combine until smooth. If it is too thick, add water until it is the consistency you like. Enjoy!
