Throughout the last few weeks there is one thing that has become abundantly clear; there is an undeniable power to a group dynamic.

No man is an island.

As I get older I realize this more and more.

As individuals we are extremely capable, however sometimes we get bogged down in our “stuff”. We can lose focus, doubt our capabilities and lose sight of our goals.

When I teach my 6-Week Group Weight Loss Classes or do my virtual group detox, there is a palpable energy that exists between the members. We enter the circle of possibility together, and we know we will exit together as a stronger, more powerful whole. There is a comfort in this.

For that brief period of time we all have one common goal; to succeed. And as humans, we have it in our nature to want to help others find their way.  Working with like-minded individuals brings the best out in each of us.

You don’t have to go it alone.

So the next time you find yourself reaching for greatness and falling short, remember it may be the distance between your hand and someone else’s that gets you to the finish line.

I tell all my clients, “If you reach out to me, I will grab you.” And I know you would do the same.

Tell me below about a time when you needed help and someone came to lend a hand. How did that affect you?
