There’s something I know about you.
You might be feeling unhappy in your body or in the level of your physical health.
You really want to change, but find it incredibly hard to do so.
You go to bed every night vowing to do things differently tomorrow, and tomorrow comes and goes…
You see others doing what you ought to be doing, and it makes you feel worse.
And through it all, you can’t understand why if you are so unhappy, why you don’t have whatever it takes to make the necessary changes.
Listen. Listen for a second to the thoughts going round and round in your head.
If we get what we focus on, then it is no wonder we get what we swear we don’t want.
But there is something else I know about you; you have what it takes to make it happen.
Don’t wait for divine intervention to start achieving the life and the body you deserve.
There is a misconception that you must be motivated to begin any new venture. The truth is you must start before you become motivated.
Starting is the trigger, and starting means connecting positive thoughts to positive actions.
For instance, choose a healthier meal option and feel good about it. Take a walk around the block and notice how great it feels.
Don’t dwell on the negative aspects of change.
Cast your thoughts out into the future, and imagine how amazing you can be.
The next time you find yourself going round and round in your head, change your mental wording.
